New Details On Ben Simmons’ Megan Thee Stallion Love Triangle

Brooklyn Nets star Ben Simmons found himself embroiled in Megan Thee Stallion’s messy legal battle with Tory Lanez this week.

Back in July 2020, Megan Thee Stallion alleged that Tory Lanez shot her. This led to LA County prosecutors charging him with felony assault and firearms violations.

Tory Lanez denied being the shooter. His legal team insists that although investigators may or may not have found gun shot residue on his hands after the fact, they also found it on Megan Thee Stallion’s friend’s hands as well.

Essentially, it appears Tory Lanez’s legal team is shifting the blame for the shooting onto that friend, Kelsey Nicole.

Which is where Simmons enters the equation.

According to BSO, Tory Lanez’s “defense’s opening statement continued to say that the women had dealings with the same men—Tory, DaBaby and NBA player Ben Simmons.” They are seemingly trying to insinuate that friction over that led to the shooting.

Yikes.

Simmons, for what it is worth, offered a half-hearted denial to the allegation on social media shortly thereafter by posting this video to his Instagram stories:

Make of that what you will, but also remember that Tory Lanez and Megan Thee Stallion are in the midst of a legitimate legal war. That means they are saying what they are saying under oath.

Folks posting on Instagram aren’t bound by any sort of perjury laws.

Simmons has had a crazy year. Between being brutally threatened by a legendary rapper, the reaction he gets any time he shows his face in public and his endless NBA beefs – it has been one thing after another with him.

He also has a certain propensity for getting caught up in romantic controversies. That thing with the trans model comes to mind, as do those sleazy leaked DMs that got raised some eyebrows.

At the end of the day, the truth about Simmons’ involvement with Megan Thee Stallion will come out.

If it turns out he was telling the truth, that will go a long ways in establishing his future credibility.

Should the opposite occur, no one will ever trust anything he says going forward.
