Damian Lillard Reacts To How Bad Thanasis Antetokounmpo Is
Damian Lillard was acquired by the Milwaukee Bucks this past summer in an effort to give Giannis Antetokounmpo a reliable second superstar to play with.
Thus far, their partnership has produced decent results.
Milwaukee is presently 35-20 – good for third place in the Eastern Conference. They sit 7.5 games back of the first-place Boston Celtics.
One of the interesting things Lillard has had to adjust to with the Bucks is playing alongside Giannis’ brother, Thanasis Antetokounmpo.

It is something of an accepted fact around the league that Thanasis is a terrible player. The only reason he is in the NBA is because of his brother.
This week, Lillard got a firsthand reminder of that fact when Thanasis inexplicably got called for an 8-second violation in garbage time.
Lillard’s reaction was hilarious:

This has been a rough year for Lillard. Between his messy divorce, the two demands he made of his soon-to-be ex-wife, and his soon-to-be ex-wife exposing him for being fake, it has been one thing after another.
In that respect, it is nice that Thanasis was able to brighten up his mood like this.

Even if it was done unintentionally.
Will Lillard be able to help Thanasis add to his championship collection and win an NBA title in 2024? Time will tell.
