Louisville Star Hailey Van Lith’s Postgame Interview Goes Viral
The Louisville women’s basketball team earned a place in the Final Four this week with an impressive 62-50 victory over three-seed Michigan.
A big reason for the team’s success was Hailey Van Lith, who recorded 22 points, three rebounds and one assist in the winning effort.
Afterward, Van Lith did a postgame interview where she touched on a very emotional topic: what her friend Kobe Bryant would say to her regarding the next two games.
Van Lith didn’t hesitate.

Van Lith’s skillset is beyond reproach at this point. She is a huge star both on and off the court. With nearly 700,000 followers on Instagram, whatever she posts on the platform routinely goes viral:

This has been an up and down year for March Madness.
For all the good and fun times, there have also been head-scratching incidents like Arizona’s weird groping controversy, an ESPN cameraman refusing to stop zooming in on a cheerleader’s butt and an ugly incident between a player and cheerleader.
Yikes. https://t.co/GofMmj1UP0

In that vein, Van Lith’s remarkable story is a breath of fresh air.
Will she be able to lead Louisville all the way to a championship this year?
Time will tell.
