Paige Spiranac is one of the most influential sports analysts in the game these days, so her having an opinion on Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen’s marriage woes is unsurprising.
After all, it has been a pretty significant story over the past couple of weeks.
What did catch some folks off guard, however, was how brutal Spiranac’s take was.
The golf influencer did not hold back on her podcast this past week.
“It’s so bad that Gisele has actually left the house taking the kids,” she said on her “Playing a Round with Paige Renee” podcast.
“They are saying that she is frustrated with the fact that he has unretired and is not doing his fatherly duties and that he broke some promises.”
Obviously Spiranac isn’t breaking any news here, the reports about why Bundchen is mad are a matter of public record. But to explicitly say that Brady isn’t “doing his fatherly duties” aloud is absolutely brutal.
Then again, Spiranac has never been one to bite her tongue. She had a fairly sharp take on Brady retiring over the summer to begin with. And she has always called things like she sees them – especially when she trained her fire on the Mahomes Clan not long ago.
It will be interesting to see where this situation between Brady and Bundchen goes from here.
Clearly it didn’t slow him down much when it came to dismantling the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday night, but you’d think marital woes would still hinder Brady to some degree.
Coping with Bundchen’s most recent alleged threat towards him can’t be easy for the Bucs quarterback, no matter how brave a face he puts on.
The next few weeks will be telling. If Brady and Bundchen can get on the same page, then obviously reconciliation is likely and everyone will just move on with their lives.

Should the pair be unable to find a middle ground, though – then the prospect of them getting back together suddenly becomes far unlikelier.
Either way, it’s safe to assume that this probably isn’t the last time Spiranac will comment on Brady and Bundchen’s relationship in the foreseeable future.
