New Janel Grant Photos Emerge Amid Vince McMahon, WWE Lawsuit
A lawsuit filed against Vince McMahon by former WWE employee Janel Grant sent massive reverberations throughout the sports world.
Over the past few years, the WWE has become more and more mainstream on stations like ESPN that are known for traditional sports coverage.
This past week, the WWE announced a massive multibillion dollar agreement with Netflix.
Unfortunately, on Thursday, things took a turn.
A lawsuit filed by Grant suggests that McMahon abused and trafficked her against her will to other WWE employees. She claims that she was offered $3 million in hush money to stay quiet about what she had to endure, but was ultimately only paid $1 million of that.
As a result, she opted to sue.
Troubling new photos of alleged text messages between McMahon and Grant emerged shortly after the allegations she made against him and the WWE went public:
Grant alleges that McMahon also caused physical damage to her body and shared sensitive, private imagery of her with his co-workers and team members.
The WWE has obviously been in the headlines for some unfortunate things recently, namely one of their biggest stars experiencing legal issues. That said, this definitely takes the cake. It also really puts the UFC’s recent scandals in perspective. At least the video that one of their stars had leaked out was seemingly depicting a consensual encounter.
The WWE’s parent company, TKO Holdings, released a statement following the lawsuit going public.
“While this matter pre-dates our TKO executive team’s tenure at the company, we take Ms. Grant’s horrific allegations very seriously and are addressing this matter internally,” a TKO spokesperson said.

In a statement to Deadline, McMahon’s team said that Grant’s allegations were “replete with lies, obscene made-up instances that never occurred, and a vindictive distortion of the truth.”
“He will vigorously defend himself,” a spokesperson added.
It will be interesting to see how this entire sordid scandal ultimately ends. For now, though – it looks pretty bad for both McMahon and the WWE.
