LSU Star Olivia Dunne’s Phone With Personal Photos Stolen

LSU’s Olivia Dunne has quietly become one of the biggest collegiate stars in the country this year.

The young gymnastics phenom has already gone viral once this year for her crazy video, and this week she did it once more.

Unfortunately, this time around it was for a not-so-great reason.

In a post on Instagram this past Monday, Dunne revealed that someone had stolen her phone with her personal photos at the Coachella Revolve Festival over the weekend.

Understandably, Dunne is annoyed – though she is trying to stay upbeat about the whole thing.

Dunne catapulted to national prominence this past year thanks to her ever-growing social media presence. To date, she has amassed more than 1.7 million followers on Instagram. That’s more than a lot of pro athletes.

The type of posts Dunne puts out vary, but they all largely fit one big general mold:

Based on all this, it’s clear that Dunne’s prominence will only grow in the coming months and years. And while that comes with a lot of good, it also comes with some bad.

Like people stealing your private belongings.

All in all, this has been a wild year for collegiate athletics. You’ve had football stars get exposed for their bizarre fetishes, coaches get exposed for their illicit relationshipsreporters being ridiculed for their so-called “exposing” clothing and on-the-field bullying that nobody did anything about.

This is just par for the course.

Hopefully at some point, Dunne gets her phone back intact and can move on from this entire ugly ordeal with minimal damage inflicted.

What will Dunne ultimately go viral for next? Time will tell.
