The University of Kentucky kicked the college football season off with a bang this week when they blew out UL Monroe 45-10.

While the game itself wasn’t especially interesting, some of the fallout from it has raised eyebrows.

Specifically, an incident involving SEC sideline reporter Alyssa Lang.

It all started when Lang opted to eat a banana with the peel still on – immediately going viral in the process.

Harmless, funny stuff, right? Apparently not. One fan was deeply offended by her choice of wardrobe.

“Not a fan of shoulder exposure today,” the fan wrote. “Women announcers are permitting objectifying. Knowledge sells a sidelinette; not being half-dressed.”

Again, this is the offending attire:

Naturally, folks had some reactions:

In a week where UCLA has been absolutely destroying LSU on social media for days and a Heisman frontrunner appears to be on the verge of getting benched – this is the story captivating college football fans.

Needless to say, Week 2 can’t come soon enough.
