The Boston Celtics defeated the Golden State Warriors 116-100 on Wednesday evening.
It was a dominant showing for the home team, especially in the fourth quarter when it mattered most.
A number of dignitaries were on hand at TD Garden to watch the Celtics triumph. Among them: franchise legend Paul Pierce.
After his squad’s impressive win, Pierce had some words for Warriors fans:

Pierce is obviously an interesting character. Be it for his provocative videos or his hot takes on Kobe Bryant’s place in NBA lore – he has little trouble going viral on the regular.
This is just par for the course.
For whatever reason, the 2022 NBA Finals have been particularly chippy. So it makes sense that Pierce would feel some type of way about the Celtics gaining a 2-1 advantage on Wednesday night.
