Michael Jordan Reveals How He’d Beat Steph Curry 1-On-1

Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan and Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry are two of the greatest NBA players of all time.

Both were also central members of teams that are widely regarded as the first or second greatest in league history.

As a result, unsurprisingly, many have often wondered who would ultimately prevail in a 1-on-1 showdown between the pair.

That is what made a recently uncovered interview from Jordan all the more fascinating to listen to. In it, he breaks down quite clearly how he would beat down Curry and why he would prefer to play him over LeBron James.

“Well, I’d go against Stephen Curry because I’m a little bit bigger than him so I could back him in, but LeBron’s a little bit too big,” Jordan said.

That said, neither really put much fear in Jordan’s heart. He seems quite confident that, in his heyday, he would have made quick work of James as well.

“If I was in my prime, could I beat LeBron in a one-on-one game?” he continued. “No question. And he’s going to say no question.”

Not long ago Curry made his thoughts on Jordan and his legacy very clear. His honesty was extremely refreshing.

Curry’s former Warriors head coach, Mark Jackson, has also weighed in on the debate between Jordan and Curry.

And while Curry has always been very deferential to Jordan in regards to individual honors, all the respect goes out the window when he is asked about the best team of all time. Curry has some very strong opinions about that.

Jordan and Curry are two of the greatest players ever. It is a shame that fans never got to see them square off against each other, but it was still a privilege to watch each one when they did play.
