Hailey Van Lith’s Donovan Mitchell Video Goes Viral After Louisville Win
Hailey Van Lith helped lead Louisville to a big win over Texas this week to lock up a Sweet 16 bid in the NCAA Tournament.
Van Lith, the best player on the court for the entirety of the evening, scored 21 points en route to victory.
After the game she also showed a fair amount of grit when confronted by Texas’ Sonya Morris.

Afterward, Van Lith classily tried to downplay the incident.

One person who loved everything about the sort of night Van Lith had was Cleveland Cavaliers star Donovan Mitchell. He even posted this video shout out to her on social media.
Not only did Van Lith see the shoutout, but she responded as well.
This obviously isn’t the first time in recent weeks Van Lith has found herself trending. Between her big decision last month and her epic recent postgame interview, it has been one thing after another.
Over the course of March it has felt like the only women going viral have been cheerleaders. First the Michigan State dancer whose wild photos caused a stir, then the Duke cheerleader whose memorable imagery set the internet ablaze.

But Van Lith is changing that and the narrative.
Will Van Lith ultimately be able to lead Louisville to NCAA Title this year? An answer one way or the other will emerge soon enough.
