Bronny James Bullied By LeBron-Related Crowd Sign At Game (Photos)

Being the son of arguably the greatest basketball player of all time isn’t always easy. There are obviously a lot of perks, but there are some downsides as well.

Bronny James learned that lesson the hard way recently.

During a recent Sierra Canyon basketball game, fans attempted to get into the 17-year-old’s head with a sign about his dad.

The imagery in question largely speaks for itself:

LeBron has come under fire as of late over his indifference towards the human rights violations occurring in China, and it appears there is now some spillover as it pertains to Bronny.

Last week LeBron was involved in a confrontation with another NBA player over his China views, video of which immediately went viral.

Some find it hypocritical of LeBron to speak out on so many civil rights-related issues in America, as he did just a few days ago, but ignore the atrocities that occur overseas. Particularly given that he is financially incentivized to ignore those atrocities.

All that being said, Bronny is still a teen. And taunting or bullying him over his father’s perceived sins makes little sense.

Fortunately, it seems like Bronny wasn’t too fazed by what he saw and heard. After a fairly in-depth scouting profile on him was developed, four universities emerged as the early frontrunners to recruit him.

Where will he ultimately end up going to college when the dust settles? Time will tell.
