Katherine Webb and her husband A.J. McCarron have quietly turned into the XFL’s biggest stars over the past few weeks.
McCarron, 32, is one of the new football league’s few players widely regarded as being good enough to be in the NFL right now. Obviously in a backup capacity, but he could still be playing at the highest level nevertheless.
Instead he has opted to go to the XFL, for a pay cut, in order to actually have the opportunity to play regularly on an active basis.
Webb, his longtime wife, has been there cheering him on every step of the way.
This week Webb shared some photos from the St. Louis BattleHawks’ big win over the Arlington Renegades to social media. Fans couldn’t get over her outfit choice and how good she looked.
Obviously this isn’t the first time in recent weeks Webb has blown up online. Between her provocative outfit choice to McCarron’s first XFL game, her controversial relationship with Deshaun Watson’s girlfriend and her knack for striking just the right notes with her memorable Halloween costumes, it has been one thing after another.
Webb is a permanent fixture in the headlines at this point.
Obviously XFL wives don’t get as much attention as NFL wives. That was made abundantly clear by how viral Trevor Lawrence’s wife’s wild party pictures went this past weekend, and how big of a deal Brittany Mahomes’ new look was.
But as far as XFL partners go, nobody is bigger than Webb.

McCarron had another solid showing this weekend, going 20-of-27 for 214 yards, two touchdowns and one interception while leading his squad to victory. He is quietly turning into one of the league’s faces.
And that in turn means that both he and his wife will be featured front and center for many more weeks to come.
Will McCarron and Webb ultimately end up being viewed as the new faces of the XFL once everything is said and done this season? Time will tell.
