Los Angeles Lakers star Anthony Davis celebrated his 30th birthday this past week.
While L.A.’s season obviously hasn’t gone according to plan for large swaths of 2022 and part of 2023, the team is firing on all cylinders at the moment.
The Lakers are currently winners of three straight and seven of their last 10. Davis’ contributions have been key to the run, with him playing at an MVP level.
All the winning and momentum has lifted up everyone’s mood, including Davis’ and LeBron James’.
At Davis birthday party, James offered up a special message for his teammate that immediately went viral.

In recent days there has been some chatter about Davis and James possibly not getting along. Based on this clip, that doesn’t seem to be true.
Either way, Davis is clearly in a great place right now. He is in his physical and mental prime as a basketball player and has the Lakers in position to make a late-season run.

If L.A. can legitimately contend for a title this year, a lot of their past woes wil be forgotten.
Davis has already won one championship with the Lakers. Is another in the cards? Time will tell.
