Zach Wilson’s Mom Lisa Introduces Her Best Friend (Video)

New York Jets quarterback Zach Wilson sent the NFL world spinning off its axis recently when it came out that he allegedly hooked up with one of his mom’s best friends.

Zach’s mom, Lisa, is no stranger to making headlines.

And because of that comfortability with being in the news cycle, she embraced all the newfound attention her family has been receiving over the matter.

This week, Lisa introduced the world to one of her best friends in an effort to keep the viral story involving her son alive.

With social media being what it is nowadays, reactions to Lisa’s video came in swiftly:

For the uninitiated, this story originally began when Zach’s ex-girlfriend Abbey Gile responded to accusations of being a “homie hopper” for dating his former best friend and ex-college roommate by throwing Zach under the bus for hooking up with his mom’s friend.

This led to a lot of intensive research into Lisa’s friend group and multiple NFL stars weighing in on the matter.

To date, there has been no confirmation of precisely which one of Lisa’s friends Zach ultimately hooked up with.

All in all, this has been an insane summer for Zach. The young Jets star only debuted his new special female friend to the world just a few weeks ago. When you factor in that and Lisa’s most recent media controversy, which happened not long after her ‘crack whore’ debacle, it feels like the Wilson family has been in the headlines nonstop.

Off-the-field nonsense notwithstanding, this is shaping up to be a big year for Zach. And he seems to know that. The work he put in on transforming his body over the summer speaks for itself.

The Jets have made a big bet on Zach being a franchise cornerstone and the team’s quarterback of the future. In 2022-23, he will need to live up to that.

Will he be able to do so?

Time will tell.
