DeMar DeRozan’s Baby Mama Drama Hits Drew League (Photos)

Chicago Bulls star DeMar DeRozan made quite the impression at the Drew League this past weekend.

On the court, he got into some notable tiffs with some random dude that was guarding him a bit too intensely for his liking.

Off the court, DeRozan made headlines for reportedly having both his partner, Shavonti, and his baby mama Kiarra Morisson in attendance.

The photos largely speak for themselves:

“Apparently [DeRozan] had both long time boo Shavonti and Kiarra Morrison (mother to most of kids) sitting court side at Drew League,” one prominent gossip account wrote. “What’s tea is that both of their babies look close age.”

Make of that what you will.

Baby mama drama is obviously not something that only DeRozan deals with. Everyone from NBA legends to NFL superstars deal with it as well.

Female stuff notwithstanding, DeRozan is coming off one of his best seasons ever. He was a legitimate MVP candidate for a portion of the year and helped guide the Chicago Bulls to a tremendous first half of the NBA season.

Obviously both he and the squad petered out a bit as the playoffs approached, but that doesn’t detract from what he was able to accomplish.

DeRozan’s strong play for Chicago also shined a light on how badly the Los Angeles Lakers messed up by picking Russell Westbrook over him.

Over the past few months DeRozan has spoken very bluntly regarding who is to blame for that.

The looming 2022-23 NBA season will be a huge one for DeRozan.

If he can perform well, lead the Bulls into the playoffs and make some legitimate noise there – it will add a tremendous boost to his legacy.

Should that not happen, then some of the demons that followed him around during his stints with the Toronto Raptors and San Antonio Spurs will inevitably resurface.

Which version of DeRozan will we see come next season?

Time will tell.
