Aja Metoyer is a reality TV star and also the mother of one of Dwyane Wade’s children.
That latter distinction and Metoyer’s association with Wade has come under increased scrutiny over the years.
Wade and his better half, Gabrielle Union, claim they were separated when he impregnated Metoyer. Some don’t fully buy that assertion.
Either way, though – Metoyer’s primary claim to fame is her relationship with Wade.
In that spirit, it didn’t surprise all that many people this past week when Metoyer went viral for what some perceived as threatening to expose the former Miami Heat superstar.
According to awesemo.com, Metoyer sent out some social media messages recently that seem to suggest she has dirt to spill on Wade.
“I avoid sh*t because I’m scared of ME, not you,” she wrote on Instagram, before adding: “Temper go from zero to prison real fast.”
But Metoyer didn’t stop there.
So is Metoyer threatening to expose Wade? No. She opted to clear the air on Sunday after countless headlines arguing the contrary.

Metoyer has a very prolific Instagram account and boasts more than 28,000 followers on the platform. When she says something on it – it generally blows up.

Big picture, Wade and Union are very public with their love.
Whether they are posting their racy vacation photos, both going fully topless or they’re being out there about their special bedroom times – this pair is always transparent about everything.
That invites a certain level of attention. And often that times that attention can be both good and bad.

It will be interesting if Metoyer’s most recent Instagram post settles this lingering issue between her and Wade once and for all. Because if it doesn’t, then ultimately nothing will.
