PJ Washington’s Harsh Message For Brittany Renner (Video)

The ongoing battle between Charlotte Hornets big man P.J. Washington and the mother of his child, Brittany Renner, took an unfortunate turn this week.

Washington and Renner have obviously been in the news quite a bit recently for their whirlwind romance.

Renner originally hooked up with Washington when he was still playing ball at Kentucky. He was in his late teens and she was in her late 20s. The pair remained on seemingly positive terms throughout his collegiate run and after he was drafted. Earlier this year, Washington and Renner welcomed their first child, and that’s when things went bad. Renner made disturbing allegations against him. He made troubling allegations against her. It was sad all the way around.

In the process, Renner’s reputation as someone who seduces athletes and entertainers was bolstered. As a result of that reputation, Deion Sanders invited her to speak to his Jackson State football players recently. The goal, it would appear, was to caution them on potential off-the-field pitfalls.

“It’s a give-and-take but you have to be aware of what you’re signing up for,” she told the youngsters. “You’re trying to make it to the NFL. You do understand there’s a lot that comes with that, right? To be able to decipher who really loves you for you, I think that’s the billion dollar question we’re all wanting to know.

“Nobody is here for nothing. It’s just about figuring out who can be here in times of adversity.”

One person who didn’t take kindly to Renner’s words was Washington. He replied on Twitter with these messages:

Whether it’s for what Colin Kaepernick allegedly made her do, her perceived financial woes or her own social media posts – Renner always seems to be in the news these days.

And Washington clearly doesn’t love it.

Will the two eventually be able to put their issues aside and more forward in a more positive way?

Time will tell.
