Paige Spiranac is the most popular golf influencer in the United States today.

While a decent chunk of that has to do with her genuine love for the sport, passion in how she interacts with it and willingness to engage with fans – it’s not the only piece of the puzzle.

Some of Spiranac’s success stems from her objective beauty. Something she herself has acknowledged.

This week, a troll posted this message to her on Twitter:

Never one to sit back and take punishment, Spiranac responded immediately:

Understandably, fans were shook. The reactions to how insanely good Spiranac’s mom still looked in her 60s poured in immediately:

Big picture, this entire incident was just the latest example of how Spiranac gets the internet. She gets the culture surrounding social media. She understands it all intensely.

It doesn’t matter whether she’s posting provocative photos of herself partying in the club, giving her strong take on Tiger Woods spurning LIV, or showing off her racy milk shake videos – she goes viral for all of it.

And that’s to say nothing of just her general Instagram posts:

Spiranac is a star.

Her mom’s great genes played no small role in that.

So it’s good to see the woman who paved the way for Paige Spiranac to be the person she is today is getting the credit she deserves.

What will the Spiranac women ultimately go viral for next?

Time will tell.
