Aaron Rodgers Angry At Barstool For Inappropriate Question

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has been on something of a media tour in recent weeks.

A few days ago, his appearance on Aubrey Marcus’ podcast went mega-viral.

On Monday, an interview he did on Barstool’s ‘Pardon My Take’ podcast with Dan ‘Big Cat’ Katz and ‘PFT Commentator’ was released.

One clip in particular received more attention than any other. It referenced Rodgers’ refusal to get vaccinated for COVID 19:

“How many people do you think you’ve killed? What’s your count?” PFT Commenter asked.

“How many grandmothers? Let’s just do grandmothers,” Big Cat followed up.

“I know you guys are just f***ing around but I don’t find that part funny,” Rodgers said. “I really don’t.”

The responses to Rodgers’ abrupt reaction poured in immediately:

Between his explanation for why his own family hates him and brutally honest comments about Danica Patrick recently, it feels like Rodgers is a man unleashed nowadays.

No interview is passed up; no chance to speak to the media gets rejected.

It will be interesting to see how that strategy ultimately works out for him in terms of brandability and how the public ultimately perceives him.

This has been a summer of change for Rodgers. When you factor in his new tattoo and his new girlfriend, the 38-year-old seems to be in a very different place these days.

How will that impact him and the Packers in 2022-23?

Time will tell.
