Paige Spiranac’s Blunt Reaction To Tiger Woods Rejecting LIV Golf
Paige Spiranac is without question the most influential golf influencer around today.
As such, it was unsurprising that she had a strong take on her sport’s biggest news item of the week.
A few days ago it came out that Tiger Woods rejected an offer somewhere in the $700 million to $800 million range to join LIV golf.
Spiranac gave her response to Woods’ decision shortly thereafter.

“That is ‘F-you’ money, that is ‘buy an island money’ and Tiger was like, you know what, no thank you,” Spiranac said.
“Maybe it’s because he already has so much money that he doesn’t know what to do with. Maybe he wants to protect his legacy with a limited schedule since his body can’t play that much. Maybe he wants to be a Ryder Cup captain. But Tiger, he said no.”
Confirmation of how much cash Woods turned down from LIV came straight from LIV Golf CEO Greg Norman.
“That number was out there before I became CEO,” Norman told Fox News host Tucker. “Look, Tiger is a needle mover, right? So, of course you’re got to look at the best of the best. They had originally approached Tiger before I became CEO. That number is somewhere in that neighborhood.”
This isn’t the first time Spiranac has gone viral over Woods. Her memorable response to one of his confessions also set the internet ablaze. Nor is it the first time she has spoken out about LIV. Her reaction to Brooks Koepka’s big move speaks for itself.
Big picture – Spiranac has little trouble being a mainstay in golf headlines. Between her now-viral photo with 2 girls, racy party pictures and the anointment of her successor – it has been one thing after another as of late.
