Paige Spiranac has become one of the sports world’s biggest known influencers over the past few years.
Although nowadays she often offers hot takes on an assortment of leagues and players, she originally made her bones as a golf specialist.
As such, in light of Brooks Koepka’s defection to the LIV Golf Invitational Series last week, many wondered where Spiranac stood on the whole thing.
They didn’t have to wait long for an opinion.
“Brooks Koepka going to LIV is not surprising,” she tweeted. “He’s said he only cares about majors and finding new ways to make Bryson [DeChambeau]’s life miserable.”
It’s hard to argue with Spiranac’s rationale there. Over the past several months Koepka has only found himself in the headlines for three reasons. One, his transition to LIV. Two, his beef with DeChambeau. And three, his wife’s tendency to post provocative photos on social media.
Big picture, Koepka obviously did what was right for himself and his family. He knew there would be some backlash, but he didn’t care. It is what it is.
As for Spiranac, this isn’t the first time she has gone viral in recent days. Between her very racy way of drinking a milkshake, shirtless tribute to the greatest tournament of them all and unique talent-showcasing video – it has been one thing after another.
