Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and Hollywood actress Shailene Woodley broke up recently after dating for more than two years.
At one point, the pair was even engaged and set to be married.
Understandably, because of how long they were together and the seriousness of their relationship, there are still some strong feelings there.
This week, Woodley took to Instagram to post a cryptic message in regards to her ex beau.

“To the month of june: putting macro whack world events aside for a minute, on a micro level, you nurtured this woman’s head + heart,” she wrote.
“You gave me oxygen in the form of friends, babies, trees, magic, DANCING, animals, salt, sun, deep conversations, six packs from laughing, availability in the form of tears, PLAY, sunrises, hallway tag, goofiness, spontaneity, pita bread (so much pita!), hellos and goodbyes.”
Clearly Woodley is still working through things. Although she was spotted making out with an A-List Hollywood actress shortly after her split from Rodgers, she has kept things relatively low-key since then.
Rogers, meanwhile, has already moved on. In fact his new girlfriend recently found herself in hot water after uploading and then immediately deleting a very provocative video.
All in all, Rodgers and Woodley were an intriguing pairing – but one that seemed destined for a break-up. Even Rodgers’ former girlfriend Danica Patrick said this much.
Between the objectively shady start to their relationship and then Woodley’s undeniably legitimate reasoning for wanting to break-up, the writing had been on the wall for a long time.
Plus, Woodley’s friends were never shy about confessing exactly how much they hated Rodgers. That’s never a sign of future success.

Rodgers and Woodley had a fun little run together, but it’s over now.
All parties involved can move on with their lives in a happy, constructive and healthy way.
Who will these two ultimately end up with when it’s all said and done?
Time will tell. But at the moment at least, it looks like it won’t be with each other.
