Deshaun Watson’s GF Sparks Controversy With Instagram Photos
The Houston Texans opened the 2021 NFL season with a 37-21 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars this past weekend. They did so without their highest-paid player and biggest star, Deshaun Watson.
Watson, 26, is currently benched after demanding a trade from the organization and being accused of sexual misconduct and sexual assault in 22 civil lawsuits. He has offered some interesting excuses in his defense, coupled with a series of text messages that he claims exonerate him, but thus far has not swayed public sentiment to his side.
This past week, Watson’s girlfriend Jilly Anais published a series of birthday celebration photos featuring her and the Texans quarterback.
The photos largely speak for themselves:

Given the gravity of the accusations that have been made against Watson, folks had mixed responses to Anais’ photos.

Don’t all these allegations prove he cheated on her multiple times? pic.twitter.com/i7dZ2CP123

The allegations made against Watson are very serious. Many troubling DMs and text messages have come out in the last few months, detailing in explicit order his weird alleged sexual preferences.

Through it all, Anais has stuck by her man. Sometimes in extremely defiant ways, and other times in very vulgar fashion.
Clearly these most recent posts are more of the same.
One way or another, a resolution to Watson’s issues will come at some point over the next year. And when they do, it’ll be interesting to see who was ultimately on the right side of history.
