Baker Mayfield's Wife Emily’s Outfit For Panthers Debut Goes Viral

The Carolina Panthers and Washington Commanders squared off on Saturday afternoon for an early preseason game.
Because the stakes weren’t particularly high in this one, all eyes were on the quarterback match-up between Baker Mayfield and Sam Darnold.
Mayfield got the starting nod and went 4-of-7 for 45 yards. Darnold then came into the game and, within two passes, recorded a touchdown.
It will be interesting to see how the quarterback battle between these two progresses.
With this being her hsuband’s first game on his new team, Baker’s wife Emily Mayfield was in attendance. Her outfit for the event immediately caught folks’ attention:

Reactions poured in immediately:
Wardrobe aside, Emily has become something of a mainstay in the headlines in recent years.
Between her blunt reaction to Baker getting traded, her Halloween costume brouhaha and Baker’s messy DMs situation from a while back – it has been one thing after another.
And then there are just Emily’s general Instagram posts, which always do massive numbers:

This is shaping up to be a big year for the Mayfield family.
Carolina is a fresh start, and an opportunity to prove that Baker was wronged in Cleveland.
If the Panthers can make some noise, do work and make a run at the playoffs – it will do a lot to reshape Baker’s legacy and set up his future in the NFL.

Should this little situation not work out, though – Baker may not get another shot as a starter in the league.
