Jackson Mahomes is the younger brother of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
While Jackson’s elder sibling is already one of the greatest NFL players of all time, he is famous for being something of a viral celebrity.
Two years ago Jackson’s penchant sparking controversy on social media seemed to start having a legitimate impact on Patrick’s mental health. This season, after a particularly icy exchange with his big brother, Jackson toned it down.
Until now.
This past week Jackson released another one of his infamous videos.

The clip in turn has made some wonder whether the Chiefs will now suffer the consequences of Jackson re-inserting himself into the limelight.
“No wonder Pat got hurt,” one fan wrote.
“Almost made it for a whole season,” a second fan added.
“Not again,” a third fan added.
Jackson seemingly can’t help himself. It is one embarrassing video after another for him. There is just no pause or relief.
The Chiefs have a massive showdown in the AFC Championship Game looming against Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals.
After last weekend’s blowout of the Buffalo Bills, Cincinnati might be the hottest team in the NFL. As a result, the Chiefs need Patrick on his A-game and distraction-free.

Jackson clearly didn’t get the memo.
Obviously superstar athletes always have family and friends around them that can be a distraction. But few have the knack for constantly being one that Jackson does.
Will Patrick and the Chiefs be able to overcome Jackson being Jackson and secure a bid to this year’s Super Bowl? One way or another, an answer will emerge this weekend.
