The Kansas City Chiefs defeated the New York Giants 20-17 on Monday night.
Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes finished with another uncharacteristically weak showing, recording 275 yards, one touchdown and one pick on 29-of-48 passing.
Interestingly enough, neither Mahomes’ performance nor Kansas City tallying its fourth win of the year stole the headlines from the evening.
Rather, what everyone couldn’t stop talking about was the frosty exchange between Patrick Mahomes and his younger brother, Jackson.

None of this should come as a surprise. Last week, a video went viral showcasing Patrick’s seemingly deteriorating mental health whenever his partner, Brittany Matthews, and Jackson get up to their old tricks.

Beyond that, Jackson has found himself as the center of not one, but two major controversies already this season. Combine that with the Chiefs’ struggles on the field, and you could see why Patrick and Jackson’s relationship might’ve taken a little hit this year.
Obviously brothers fight and, big picture, they’ll inevitably probably be fine. But for now, it does feel like the relationship is a bit icy.
