Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has had something of an eventful summer.
A once-reserved guy, the 38-year-old has now come out of his shell to the point where it’s impossible to think of a major interview over the past few months he hasn’t been a part of.
This week, Rodgers made headlines yet again.
What got everyone up in arms this time? His choice of shirt.
No still photography allowed in the locker room and he didn’t talk today, but Aaron Rodgers is wearing a “Rodgers/Lazard ‘23 MAKE GREEN BAY GREAT AGAIN” T-shirt.

As one might expect, social media had a field day with the message on Rodgers’ shirt:
ohh. great. a lot more reasoning to hate this man https://t.co/wtr9WC3eh6

Make of that what you will.
Rodgers has a mainstay in the news cycle for months now. Between the suspicious video that came out amid his Percocet confession, the big change he made to his appearance and his recent comments on Danica Patrick – it has been one thing after another.
This shirt-related drama is just par for the course.

If Rodgers comes into the 2022-23 NFL season and performs well, folks will likely dismiss what a dumpster fire his summer was.
But if he or the Packers falter – expect for folks to scrutinize Rodgers and his newfound attitude a lot more intensely than they otherwise might have.
