Stephen Curry is one of the greatest NBA players of all time. Being the basketball maestro that he is, he routinely ends up embarrassing opposing defenders.
The future Hall of Famer’s shooting skills and insane ballhandling can leave even the best of defenders in a pretzel.
This week, during a game between the Golden State Warriors and Houston Rockets, Curry went mano-a-mano with one of the league’s most notorious trash-talkers: Dillon Brooks.
Over the years, Brooks has proclaimed himself as the one defender who gives Curry the most problems.
Not only did Curry humiliate him on the court this week, but he also destroyed him verbally as he was doing it.

Understandably, fans at home had a lot of reactions to Curry schooling Brooks.
They flocked to social media to weigh in:
Don’t tell me Wardell isn’t a killer. Kobe knew what it was

Brooks took it in stride, though. This is a guy who managed to criticize Victor Wembanyama before he even played a single regular season NBA game.
When you dish it out the way Brooks does, you also have to be prepared to take it. That is why he had to take that now-infamous walk of shame after getting beaten by the Los Angeles Angeles Lakers in last season’s playoffs.

Brooks is captivating and polarizing character, but he is a necessary evil in the NBA. To have heroes in the league, you need to have villains as well.
Curry undoubtedly loved schooling Brooks the way he did, but it probably isn’t as serious for either one of them as it is for the fans at home.
