Tennessee Cheerleader’s Photos Cause A Stir At March Madness
Tennessee fell in disappointing fashion to Florida Atlantic on Thursday night.
It marked Rick Barnes latest disappointment in the NCAA Tournament and was the second time in five years that the Vols have lost in the regional semifinal.
To date, Tennessee has still never made a Final Four.
While some of the players didn’t do what they needed to do advance in the NCAA Tournament, Tennessee’s cheerleaders definitely did all they could.
This week a photo shared of the squad to social media immediately set the internet ablaze.
From there, eagle-eyed sleuths identified one particular fan favorite. Her personal social media promptly blew up shortly thereafter.

This obviously isn’t the first time in recent days March Madness has led to something like this. Just a few days ago, a pair of UCLA cheerleaders blew up over their provocative photos. Then there was that Michigan State dance squad member who set the internet ablaze with her wild pictures. Now this.
All in all, great cheerleading efforts notwithstanding, it’s hard not to walk away from Thursday’s game with a bitter sense of disappointment regarding the current state of Tennessee basketball.
Under Barnes the Vols have gone 17-11 and have yet to advance past the Sweet 16.

Nobody gives you trophies for being ranked No. 2 in the country midseason. This is the time when winning matters most, and Barnes’ squad simply can’t seem to get it done.
Mind you, this is a guy who couldn’t even win a National Championship with Kevin Durant on his roster.
At some point in the foreseeable future, Tennessee is going to need to make some tough decisions about Barnes. Is he really the right head coach for the program going forward? How many times will the cheerleaders need to pick up the slack because of the on-the-court product lacking on his watch?
One way or the other, this promises to be an interesting offseason.
