Donovan Mitchell’s Wild Birthday Party Photos Cause A Stir
Donovan Mitchell’s wild birthday party photos caused a stir this week.
To commemorate his 27th birthday, Mitchell hit the town with some of his close friends and brought in the big day right.
The Cleveland Cavaliers star then took to social media to share his wild photos.
They proved to be an instant hit.

“Best [shooting guard] in the league,” one fan replied.
“More life, more happiness” another person chimed in.
“Prime years,” a third fan wrote.
Mitchell is unquestionably one of the league’s more popular players. Whether he is partying it up with his girl or naming the six best defenders in the NBA today, everything he says and does is front page news.
Aside from Kawhi Leonard’s big birthday boat party, no other star in the league has done it this big for their birthday.
Mitchell is in a class of his own.
A lot of people believe that, although Mitchell is saying all the right things in Cleveland, eventually he will end up in New York. He is from the Big Apple and has been linked to both the New York Knicks and Brooklyn Nets in various capacities.
Bill Simmons of ‘The Ringer’ recently predicted that the Knicks would get “one of [these] three guys, I guarantee, Giannis [Antetokounmpo], [Joel] Embiid, or Mitchell will be on that team a year from now.”

Of that group, Mitchell is the most gettable and would make the most sense. He is currently under contract until 2025, but to date, he hasn’t shown any interest in extending with Cleveland beyond that.
If the Cavaliers ultimately feel like Mitchell is on his way out, it would make sense for the team to pursue a trade earlier. That way they can still get something of value for him.
Will Mitchell ultimately end up in New York at some point before the start of his next contract? Time will tell.
