The Milwaukee Bucks acquired Patrick Beverley this past week ahead of the 2024 NBA Trade Deadline.
It didn’t take him long to make an impression.
During Friday night’s game against the Charlotte Hornets, Beverley could be seen grabbing the clipboard at one point and calling plays.

Beverley’s unique way of being comes with its fair share of positives and negatives.
One of the negatives is that he tends to get into a lot of beefs with people. One such person appears to be Damian Lillard’s sister, La’Nae.
Dame’s sister has to root for Pat Bev now 😭😭😭 pic.twitter.com/PAkGpjn2XY

For those unfamiliar with the history of this bad blood, a commentor on Twitter/X broke it down quite succinctly.
“Apparently originated from playoffs s*** talking by Dame’s sister on the [Los Angeles] Clippers and [Paul] George. Then George’s [girlfriend] got involved, then George, then she went in on Pat Bev,” he wrote.
Obviously, Beverley and the entire Lillard family will find a way to mend fences now that they share common goals. That said, it still funny that they are being forced to deal with one another now.
Fans couldn’t help but laugh:

This has been a crazy year for Damian Lillard. Between his messy divorce, two brutal demands for his soon-to-be ex-wife, and that same soon-to-be ex-wife exposing his fakeness, it has been one thing after another.
Now he has to deal with an old foe in Beverley and find a way to work alongside him.

What a run.
Will it all end with Lillard winning his first ever NBA championship as a member of the Bucks? Time will tell.
