Bronny James has spent the past year quietly turning himself into one of the most highly-touted high school basketball prospects in the nation.
The 18-year-old now has nine colleges clamoring for the opportunity to add him to their programs, even if one in particular seems to be the clear frontrunner.
That being said, not everyone believes Bronny should go to college.
This week LaVar Ball offered some blunt advice to LeBron James’ eldest son: don’t bother playing against kids, go square up against grown men instead.
Specifically, LaVar recommended that Bronny and LeBron take a page out of LaMelo’s book and join Australia’s NBL.
“It’s better over here,” he said in a conversation with the Sporting News.
“Why? Because you playing against grown men and you getting paid. If you want to play basketball and you really that dude, why am I sitting in class trying to pass a chemistry test? I don’t want to play no chemistry. I don’t want to practice no Spanish.
“I want to wake up, go practice, go back to sleep, go practice, have a game, practice. That’s all I want to do. I don’t wanna be like ‘Hey, I’ll meet you in the student union for study hall.'”
While LaVar makes a compelling argument, it’s unlikely to sway Bronny or LeBron. In fact, if Bryce’s recent Instagram Story is any indication – they have their minds pretty much made up about what the next chapter is.

Wherever Bronny ultimately ends up going from here, it promises to be can’t-miss television no matter what.
He is that big of a star at this point.
Where will Bronny ultimately be playing ball come this time next year? One way or another, an answer should emerge soon enough.
