Bryce James is the youngest son of Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James and a highly-touted high school basketball player.
In recent months, the hype surrounding Bryce and his hoops potential has grown exponentially.
Much of that has to do with how big he has gotten, but it is also partially a byproduct of his undeniable skillset as well. Video of him destroying other kids at a recent game went viral not long ago – for obvious reasons.
This week, Bryce got his first D-1 scholarship college offer. He shared the news on social media:

While Duquesne is unlikely to ultimately land him when it’s all said and done, it’s a start.
A big reason why Duquesne’s offer is notable is because Keith Dambrot is the Dukes’ head basketball coach. Once upon a time, he also served as a high school basketball coach at St. Vincent-St. Mary High School – LeBron’s high school.
Although a full-circle moment almost certainly won’t occur in this instance, it’s still cool that it is in the conversation.
While Bryce still has some time to pick a university, his older brother Bronny has an important decision that he will need to make sooner rather than later.
At the moment, five powerhouses (and one dark horse) are very much in the hunt for his services. To date, Bronny has yet to tip his hand regarding where he wants to go. And that’s to say nothing of his pro aspirations. This week, Bronny’s likely NBA draft position also emerged – leading to much analysis.
It will be interesting to see what the James boys, both Bryce and Bronny, do from here on out.
What a weekend for the UFC. https://t.co/FOnJ0gI2Hk

All eyes are on them.
Will they live up to expectations?
Time will tell.
