Ciara’s Outfit In Support Of Russell Wilson’s Broncos Debut

The Denver Broncos and Buffalo Bills squared off in preseason action this past weekend.

Many hoped to see Russell Wilson go head-to-head versus Josh Allen, but that battle ultimately failed to materialize. The latter played a single series; the former didn’t participate at all.

In fact, the main headline to come out of the proceedings was a jersey swap that took place between the two quarterbacks:

Last week Broncos offensive coordinator Justin Outten seemed to suggest that Wilson would not play in the preseason.

“[Wilson] always wants to be out there,” Outten said. “You saw him warming up [last week]. He loves this game; he loves this team. Any opportunity that he could step inside the white lines, it’s a privilege.

“He realizes that every time you put a helmet on you don’t know what’s going to happen the next play. He really loves his game, and that’s what we love about him. But yeah, we’re not going to do that.”

That means Wilson likely won’t make his official debut with his new team until the regular season commences.

One person who can’t wait for Wilson to finally suit up for Denver? His wife, Ciara. She recently showed her support for her beau and his squad with her outfit choice in an Instagram video:

This has been a crazy few months for Wilson and Ciara. Between their unique ESPY outfits going viral, provocative vacation pictures setting the internet ablaze and seemingly nonstop controversies – it feels like they have been mainstays in the headlines.

And that’s to say nothing of Ciara’s ex, Future, openly mocking them without provocation.

Big picture, this is shaping up to be a big year for Wilson and Ciara. Obviously things with the Seattle Seahawks took an unfortunate turn towards the end of their run there.

This is a chance for a fresh start.

Will Wilson be able to lead the Broncos into the playoffs in an absolutely brutal division, re-establish himself as one of the NFL’s top tier passers and claim his position back at the top of the league’s quarterback hierarchy?

An answer should come soon enough.
