Bryce James is the youngest son of Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James. When your dad is arguably the greatest basketball player of all time, hype surrounding your skills is inevitable.
That said – Bryce is really starting to live up to it.
This week, video emerged of him that impressed on two fronts. First and foremost, he looked massive for his age. Some already have him listed at 6’6” despite being just 15 years old. More importantly, though – he was balling other kids up.

Side-by-side photos of Bryce and LeBron these days are telling. He is huge. His growth spurt has been off the charts.
There is a reason why a lot of scouts in the hoops community truly believe Bryce has a higher ceiling than Bronny.
The hype is real. And whereas Bronny is plummeting down national rankings charts, Bryce is ascending.
Time will tell whether Bryce will ultimately be good enough to succeed at the next level, but for now at least, he seems to possess all the skills necessary to be truly great.
