Jim Harbaugh Makes Surprising Comments After Michigan vs Notre Dame
Jim Harbaugh made some surprising comments after Michigan vs Notre Dame on Saturday.
Coming into this weekend, many expected Brian Kelly and the Fighting Irish to run roughshod over a Wolverines group that had been struggling against good competition all year long.
The exact opposite happened.
Michigan ultimately ended up beating Notre Dame quite easily in a 45-14 blowout.
So important to get that win last night.

That means after all the hoopla and talk about how badly the Wolverines are doing in relation to the nation’s other notable programs, they currently have as many defeats on the season as Notre Dame.
After the game, Harbaugh had some words regarding what transpired on Saturday.

“Respect for the players,” he said of his team.
“Some of the recent tests and growth that’s come from that and their mindset to work and improve and also led to a great victory.”
Harbaugh identified the excellent play of the defense as one of the key reasons for the win.
“Defensively, it was a great performance,” he said.
“We were just so fast,” Harbaugh continued. “We were running so good…Don Brown called a great game, he really had it wired.
“Can’t say enough about that.”
While the defense was no doubt stellar, what was more surprising was how solid the Michigan offense looked.
“The offense, the same kind of production,” Harbaugh added.
“And how about the elements? I think our guys had fun with it and really relished playing in this game.
“So many great performances by so many — Shea Patterson, Hassan Haskins really got us going.
“It was four great quarters out of all sides of the ball.”
Next up, Michigan takes on a 3-5 Maryland squad.
Meanwhile, Kelly and Notre Dame will look to bounce back next week against a 5-2 Virginia Tech team.
