Paul Finebaum Has Surprising Rankings For Ohio State, Alabama, LSU And More

Paul Finebaum has surprising rankings for Ohio State, Alabama, LSU and more in the aftermath of a hectic Week 9 of the college football season.

Oklahoma, who had been universally regarded as a top-six team heading into this weekend, lost to an unranked Kansas State team.

Along the same lines, No. 15 Texas struggled hard against an unranked TCU and ended up losing its third game of the year.

Following Saturday’s games, Finebaum released an updated top-six list.

Per his rankings, the top-three features Ohio State, LSU and Alabama.

Ohio State systematically dismantled a reeling Wisconsin team 38-7; LSU earned a hard-fought victory over a gritty No. 9 ranked Auburn squad; and Alabama thumped an Arkansas group with only two wins on the year 48-7.

Rounding out Finebaum’s top-six are Clemson, Penn State and Florida.

Next week is unlikely to feature any major position-swapping in these rankings.

However, with Alabama and LSU set to square off on Nov. 9, Finebaum’s rankings will likely look very different come this time two weeks from now.
