Michigan State Cheerleader’s Wild Photos Cause A Stir
A Michigan State cheerleader’s wild photos caused a stir this week amid questions about how the football team will perform in 2023.
With the new season on the horizon, all eyes are on Mel Tucker and Co. as they look to rebound from a disappointing 5-7 campaign that saw them win a mere three in-conference outings.
What hurt even more about how the 2022 season went was how well the team played in 2021. That year, the Spartans finished 11-2 and ninth in the nation. That’s what made last year’s regression all the more startling.
While both the offense and defense disappointed last year, one unit that consistently showed up to play was the cheerleading squad.
In the process, a number of the dancers amassed major followings on social media. One Michigan State cheerleader in particular, Amanda, caused something of a stir this week with her wild photos.

Earlier in the week, an Oklahoma State cheerleader went viral over her provocative video. It has just been that kind of July for cheerleaders in college football.
And it’s worth remembering, during the NCAA Tournament, a different Michigan State cheerleader blew up online her over photos, too.
Cheerleading aside, though – it will be interesting to see what Michigan State can accomplish this coming season.
Obviously Tucker is going to need a big year out of quarterback Noah Kim, but it’s going to be a bit bumpier than anticipated given No. 1 receiver Keon Coleman’s decision to bolt to Florida State.
Kim was already giving Payton Thorne a run for his money, so his exit stings a bit less, but losing Coleman will hurt. The onus will fall on tight end Maliq Carr and running back Jalen Berger to pick up the slack.
Defensively, partially due to injuries and partially due to poor coaching, the Spartans have consistently been at the bottom of the nation on this side of the ball. Scottie Hazelton needs to make something happen with this unit in 2023 – or else.

What complicates the equation is that Michigan State’s secondary remains very questionable from a talent standpoint. There were a lot of holes that needed plugging on that unit heading into the offseason, and few were actually plugged.
Big picture, Tucker and Michigan State don’t have the highest of ceilings in their conference, but if healthy, they can at least make a little noise.
Will the Spartans be able to return to their 2021 overperforming ways? Time will tell, but either way Michigan State’s cheerleaders will be there rooting them on every step of the way.
