Michael Irvin’s Wild Photos With Miami Cheerleaders Go Viral
NFL legend Michael Irvin was on hand this Saturday to watch his alma mater, Miami, take on North Carolina’s highly-touted football program.
As has been the case all too often in head coach Mario Cristobal’s short head coaching reign, the Hurricanes found a way to choke an extremely winnable game away.
That said – Irvin still seemed to have a great time.
Photos featuring the all-time great wide receiver and a group of cheerleaders went viral over the weekend:

Irvin also stopped to have a moment with Dre Bly pregame:

While Irvin’s photos with Miami’s cheerleaders weren’t quite as memorable as Coach O’s photos with cheerleaders, they still left an impression.
Interestingly enough, this isn’t the first time in recent weeks Miami cheerleaders have found themselves in the headlines. Not long ago, a particular interaction between the program’s cheerleaders and a group of men also went mega-viral.
The Hurricanes are in an interesting place right now football-wise. There was a lot of enthusiasm about Cristobal when he was brought on this past year, but fans who saw him in Oregon knew what sort of mixed bag he could be.
Miami fans are finding that out firsthand these days.

Looking ahead, this program still has at least two guaranteed L’s on the schedule. Miami will finish the year with a minimum of five defeats. This is a lost campaign by any objective measure.
Will Cristobal be able to turn things around over the summer and return a group that alumni like Irvin can be proud of in 2023?
Time will tell.
