Lee Corso’s Wild College Football Gameday Video Goes Viral

Lee Corso’s Wild College Football Gameday Video Goes Viral

Lee Corso is 87 years old, but nobody else in college football has his knack for electrifying a crowd.

Obviously Corso has been dealing with some health issues over the past few weeks, but he was back this Saturday – and he certainly left quite the impression.

The “College GameDay” crew was live from the University of Oregon this week ahead of the Ducks’ big Pac-12 showdown versus a surprisingly strong UCLA squad.

Corso celebrated the occasion like only he could:

College football fans absolutely loved the visual. They took to social media immediately to react:

In addition to playing with his new buddy, Corso also made a pick for the Oregon-UCLA game.

Corso is actually longtime friends with former Ducks coach-turned-UCLA coach Chip Kelly, but he didn’t let that sway him.

“To hell with Chip,” Corso said. “The Oregon Duck has been my friend for 25 years almost. I like Chip Kelly but not today, boy.”

You love to see it. Nobody in the game has swagger like Corso. There is a reason he finds himself trending every Saturday morning – fans absolutely love him.

This has been a wild week for college football. Between a fan cheering so hard her shirt flew off, Brian Kelly’s daughter’s provocative video going viral and the accusations of cheating from Alabama-Tennessee – it has been one thing after another.

It’s great that Corso is around every weekend to cleanse fans’ palates of the insanity and provide a smooth pathway into the next group of games.

What will Corso ultimately go viral for next week?

Time will tell.
