Urban Meyer is one of the greatest coaches in college football history. His track record and place in the sport’s lore is beyond reproach.
That said, Meyer has gained his fair share of detractors over the past couple of years as well. Between the way he left Florida, and the way he left Ohio State, and the way he left the Jacksonville Jaguars – the man certainly knows how to rub folks the wrong way.
This week Meyer made headlines for something of an unexpected reason: his outfit choice on college football Saturday.
The visual is fairly self-explanatory:

Fans took to social media immediately to weigh in.
Needless to say, they were absolutely merciless:
My daughter asked if he was blind? I told her only to right from wrong.

Think he’s still recovering from last night and the hangover is making the sun too bright

Last week I scorched Urban’s transition lenses at the Big Noon Show. It looks like he doubled down this week and went with the “can’t catch me peeping” transitions. https://t.co/fNmIX5jFcu

Meyer is obviously something of a special character. When you consider his notorious lap dance heard around the world, the “other” angles depicting exactly where he was shoving his hand and ensuing allegations of inappropriate texts and a sadder unreleased video, the man has found himself on the wrong end of a lot of bad stuff.
Amazingly enough, though, he never seems to face any real consequences.

As far as where he goes from here professionally – the jury is still out. By all accounts, two prominent universities have interest in bringing him in to lead their football programs.
Time will tell if Meyer ends up coaching again at some point.
Either way, it’s safe to assume this probably isn’t going to be the last time he finds himself in the headlines this college football season.
