Why Snoop Dogg Rejected A $2 Million Michael Jordan Offer

Snoop Dogg occupies a very interesting place at the intersection of music and sports. Although he obviously made his millions thanks to the former, he is a constant presence at events involving the latter.

In fact, Snoop Dogg is such an intense sports fan that he is actually embroiled in legitimate feuds with present-day players.

His beefs are so intense that modern-day superstars send him gifts to apologize for perceived slights to his favorite teams.

Recently, Snoop Dogg divulged an interesting sports-related tidbit: he once turned down a $2 million offer from the NBA’s GOAT.

“I know one of the craziest deals I turned down was like $2 million dollars to DJ a Michael Jordan party and I turned it down,” he said on Jake Paul’s podcast. “I’ve still never met Michael Jordan but I still want to.”

The fact that Snoop Dogg still hasn’t met Jordan to this day is fascinating. Does that mean Jordan held a grudge over the rejection?

It’s unclear.

Snoop Dogg is a diehard hoops fan. His tattoos dedicated to his favorite team and players are telling. The man’s loyalty to his squads is as real as they come.

But apparently it doesn’t extend to players on teams he doesn’t care about – like Jordan’s Bulls.

Will Snoop Dogg and Jordan ever cross paths if they haven’t up to this point? Will he ever get the opportunity to right that wrong?

Time will tell.
