Virginia Tech fell to Notre Dame 32-29 on Saturday.
With this loss, the Hokies moved to 3-2 on the year.
While the outing itself was a decent one, it was largely overshadowed by some of the other crazy finishes from the college football weekend.
Except in one regard.
A viral clip has been circulating over the past 24 hours of an exchange between Virginia Tech quarterback Braxton Burmeister and a coach.
Video of the encounter speaks for itself:

Naturally, fans had some questions after the fact:

So what exactly was happening in that particular instance? We may never know for certain, but it’ll be interesting to see if anyone from the Virginia Tech press side opts to follow up.
This young college football season has been filled with some tremendous on the field play, but its headlines have largely been dominated by things happening off the field. Whether it’s SEC reporters getting demeaned for “dressing inappropriately”, or teams blatantly getting cheated out of victories, or straight up bullying on the sidelines – it has been one issue after another.

This most recent incident is just another example of that.
