Were Steelers Mocking Damar Hamlin With CPR Celebration? (Video)

Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin suffered cardiac arrest last week during a Monday night showdown against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Ten minutes of CPR needed to be performed on Hamlin before he could ultimately be rushed to a local hospital.

Luckily, thanks in no small part to some quick-thinking from a heroic member of the Bills, Hamlin now seems to be on the road to recovery.

Unfortunately, in a weekend where everyone was honoring and paying tribute to Hamlin, the Pittsburgh Steelers decided to go a different route.

Following a sack on Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson by linebacker Alex Highsmith, this is how the Steelers opted to celebrate:

NFL fans have been through the ringer this week worrying about Hamlin, so understandably folks were ticked off.

The responses poured in immediately:

Classy stuff as usual from the Steelers.

This entire Hamlin situation has really shown people’s true colors.

On one hand you have Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow’s classy gesture and Green Bay Packers legend Aaron Rodgers’ kind words.

Then on the other you have ESPN analysts who will likely be fired soon and Skip Bayless being Skip Bayless.

In times like this, people show their real selves in a way they never would otherwise. This Steelers celebration was just the latest example of that.
