Patrick Mahomes wore a special outfit to Saturday’s NFL game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Las Vegas Raiders in honor of Damar Hamlin.
Hamlin, a safety for the Buffalo Bills, suffered cardiac arrest this past Monday night in a showdown against the Cincinnati Bengals. Ten minutes of on-the-field CPR had to be performed on him before he was rushed to a local hospital.
Thanks to the quick thinking of a hero Bills team member, he is now on track to recovering.

On a sad day when a teen girl also collapsed and passed away from heart trauma during her football game, Mahomes’ sweet gesture is a great reminder of the good that still exists in the world.
Much like Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow’s classy gesture, Mahomes’ thoughtful tribute says a lot about him.
Obviously Mahomes often finds himself in the headlines because of stuff his wife Brittany does, like her wild workout photos with Kayla Nicole, but he really deserves be in the news cycle more for stuff like this.
