Tom Brady is retiring from the NFL, and golf influencer Paige Spiranac couldn’t help but use the occasion to take a little shot at Notre Dame football.
On Saturday, reports emerged that Brady was hanging up his cleats. Although there was some initial confusion, with ESPN reporting one thing and Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians saying something else – the writing on the wall is clear.
Brady is done. Now he just wants to announce on his terms.
The day news of Brady’s retirement broke, Spiranac sent out his tweet:
With all this free time, I think Tom Brady is going to start grinding on his golf game. Calling it now. He will win a senior tour major before Notre Dame wins a playoff game

This isn’t the first time Spiranac has gone viral in recent weeks. Her brutally honest Barry Bonds take pretty much broke the internet.
Before that, Spiranac’s 3-word statement on the AFC Championship Kansas City Chiefs vs Buffalo Bills game quickly blew up, as did her completely destroying the Dallas Cowboys last weekend with a searing 16-word tweet. Prior to that it was her brutally honest 5-word take on Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and just her overall feelings on the AFC North.
For better or worse, Spiranac is a legit football newsmaker.
That being said, this most recent general sports analysis turn is somewhat new for Spiranac. Prior to it she was mainly in the news for stuff like her shocking photos, lustful Halloween wardrobes or polarizing thesis on men staring at her boobs.
