Nick Saban reveals an important Tua Tagovailoa health update in his recent comments.
This past Saturday, Tagovailoa sustained a brutal hip injury that ended his season and career with the Crimson Tide all in one fatal swoop.
The youngster who was a Heisman candidate and one of the front runners to be the first quarterback selected in the 2020 NFL Draft suddenly had more questions surrounding him than answers.
This week, his head coach attempted to answer some of those questions.
Speaking to reporters on Wednesday, Saban revealed that Tagovailoa was in good spirits and recovering well from the injury.
Saban on Tua Tagovailoa: “I talk to him every day. … He’s in good spirits, and he’s doing well. I think all the indications from the surgery have been really positive from a medical standpoint. … I think he’s got a really good understanding of what he’s looking at.”
