New Troubling Dalvin Cook, Gracelyn Trimble Photos, Messages Emerge

Minnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook found himself embroiled in a troubling controversy this week.
In a lawsuit filed on Tuesday, Cook’s ex-girlfriend Gracelyn Trimble accused him of battery and false imprisonment.
Meanwhile, Cook’s attorneys have responded to the allegations by insisting that he is in fact the victim. They maintain he is being extorted by Trimble for millions of dollars and that he was in all actuality the victim of her domestic abuse.

Unfortunately, these sorts of situations are becoming all too common in the NFL.
According to Rochelle Olson of the Star Tribune, Trimble provided these messages and photographs as part of her lawsuit:
In addition, these photos also later emerged:
Gracelyn Trimble is 5’5″ and alleges the @Vikings Dalvin Cook, 5’10”, assaulted and falsely imprisoned her. He claims she attacked him. Here are pictures she filed as exhibits to her Dakota County civil lawsuit. She says she suffered a concussion, cuts and bruises. pic.twitter.com/zkexo2WZFd

Cook, however, is sticking by his account. He alleges that Trimble was “emotionally abusive” and “physically aggressive” towards him.
Shortly after all the accusations went public, this video of Trimble seemingly threatening to shoot Cook while he yells at her to let him go leaked out:
Trimble has been identified as a sergeant in the U.S. Army.
Cook is a second-round draft pick out of Florida State who Minnesota selected 41st overall in 2017. He currently ranks eighth in the NFL with 554 rushing yards this season. His status for Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers remains unclear at the moment.

The NFL has an ugly history when it comes to domestic assault. Just last year an NFL player beat his girlfriend to a pulp for refusing to bow. And regardless of whose account of events is accurate in this scenario, it seems like domestic assault occurred.
Ultimately, a ruling will be made in court regarding what transpired in this case. Hopefully when that occurs, the wronged parties will ultimately get the justice they deserve.
