Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson is in the midst of a deeply disturbing legal battle.
Earlier this week, a massage therapist came out and accused him of getting inappropriate with her.
Then came another. And another. In total, seven women have now accused Watson of extremely troubling behavior, with more reportedly preparing to step forward.
On Friday, attorney Tony Buzbee, who is heading the legal effort against Watson, released text message exchanges involving the Texans quarterback that paint a worrying picture.

In a separate Instagram post, Buzbee revealed that he was getting death threats as a result of his work.
“When I got to ten death threats, I stopped counting. Key board warriors blindly supporting Deshaun Watson are in full force and effect. As my sis would say, these ‘tough guys’ aren’t so tough when they aren’t in front of their computers and in their mother’s basement,” he wrote. “Haha. I’ve said it before and will say it again: I like football, but I would never brush aside abhorrent conduct against women, just because a so-called “football star” is the alleged perpetrator.”
Despite Watson’s looming legal battle, at least one NFL team is still interested in adding him via trade. Whether or not a deal will ultimately happen remains to be seen.
Neither Watson nor his girlfriend Jilly Anais have commented on the situation since the initial accusation was made.
