Zach Wilson’s Mom Lisa’s ‘Cowgirl Outfit’ Causes A Stir (Video)
Zach Wilson’s mom, Lisa, has been a mainstay in the headlines ever since the New York Jets selected him with the second overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.
Generally speaking, parents will go viral alongside their kids once or twice after they go pro, a la Joe Burrow’s mom. Mostly in a celebration capacity. And then you don’t see them or hear from them unless a major accomplishment occurs, like winning a Super Bowl.
That hasn’t been the case with Lisa. Between her ‘sexy’ birthday party pictures, plastic surgery brouhaha and wild outfits, she has been a permanent fixture in the news cycle right there alongside her boy.
This week proved to be no exception.
In post that quickly went viral, Lisa shared a video of her trying on different outfits in anticipation of a family Nashville vacation Zach was taking her and the whole Wilson clan on. Her cowgirl outfit, in particular, proved to be a huge hit.

“You look so good,” one fan wrote.
“You are so cute,” another one agreed.
Lisa’s caption for the post was particularly sweet and showed just how much family means to both her and Zach.
“Our family is growing, add in a son in law and three girlfriends. But we still make the effort to spend as much time together as possible,” she wrote.
“All 12 of us are headed to Nashville. As usual, Zach has made all the arrangements. He booked an Airbnb. Made all the reservations and laid out the itinerary. Being the one that has had to move the furthest away, I think he’s learned to appreciate his family the most.
“So he makes an extra effort to bring everyone together. When he’s in town, he has a family event planned every day.”
Big picture, this isn’t the first time Zach has gone viral over the women in his life. Between his girlfriend’s recent provocative vacation photos and now his mom, he finds himself trending more than any other backup quarterback in the NFL at this juncture.
It’s actually pretty telling that, in a week where Brittany Mahomes’ see-through dress went viral, Zach and Lisa still found a way to steal the spotlight.
With the NFL offseason wrapping up and preseason approaching, it will be interesting to see what sort of form Zach is in.

Obviously he will be the No. 2 quarterback behind Aaron Rodgers this year – but it’s an open question what happens after that.
Will he be able to soak up a ton of knowledge from one of the all-time greats and step into his shoes when Rodgers inevitably retires over the next couple of years?
Or will Zach never truly be able to elevate his game to No. 1 quarterback status? One way or the other, no matter what his career ultimately becomes, Lisa will be there cheering Zach on every step of the way.
